CONNECT
CONNECT offers assistance to homeless people in Delaware County who are interested in working their way back into mainstream society. CONNECT provides case-management services, training in life management and job readiness skills, vocational counseling and assistance in finding employment. CONNECT helps homeless people find and use needed services and assists them in understanding how those services can help them become more self-sufficient.
CONNECT-BY-NIGHT (CBN) provides overnight shelter for homeless people in churches throughout eastern Delaware County. A CBN van transports homeless people from the 69th Street SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority) Terminal in Upper Darby to the designated shelter beginning at 9 p.m. each evening and returns them to the terminal
by 7 a.m. the next morning.
CONNECT-TO-PERMANENCY (CTP) provides services, including case management, that assist homeless individuals in making a successful transition to independent living. The program is designed to work over a 12- to 24-month period and is tailored to the needs of homeless individuals.
