Philadelphia Community Services for Children and Adolescents

Philadelphia Community Services for Children and Adolescents: A Straightforward Guide to Mental Health and Related Services for Children and Adolescents

We hope this guide will assist families in accessing mental health and related services for their children or adolescents who have emotional and/or behavioral disorders. We have described many of the services and resources available in Philadelphia. We have also tried to provide practical guidelines to the often complicated and difficult process involved in getting help. To do this, we have drawn on the experience and knowledge of families and professionals from various disciplines.

We want to provide as much information as possible to enable you to make your own choices. In these times of uncertainty, family members and professionals need to be aware of the many changes taking place in the way mental health and related services for children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral disorders are being delivered. The reader needs to keep in mind that these changes are ongoing. We suggest you call the resource numbers listed to verify information. If you are still having a problem or do not have all the information you need, contact Parents Involved Network (PIN) at 215-751-1800.

Follow the links listed on the left-hand side of the page for specific services and resources or search the guide. We have also provided a Guide Site Map to aid you in navigating the electronic version of the guide.

We have not evaluated the resources listed in this guide. Inclusion does not imply our endorsement nor does absence imply our disapproval.
