About Us

The staff of the Friends Connection are indeed a unique group of people. Together as consumers and professionals in the field of behavioral health we weave a common tapestry to promote and honor recovery. We believe wholeheartedly that recovery from addiction and mental illness is possible. We believe it because we have lived it.

Our Peer Support Counseling staff know first hand the experience of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and/or mental illness. The result of their success is the desire to support others in their own quest to achieve similar goals. They themselves have taken many paths to reach this point in their own lives where they can walk along side others just beginning a journey to recovery. Their willingness to offer a hand up to someone who is considering a new way of life is the very basis of who we are and what we do.
